The Bravehearts were selected in the spring of 2008 at open tryouts in North Irvine. About thirty boys showed up for a two day tryouts. Three independent coaches were evaluating the players. Only ten boys were selected for the PLUS/SELECT team to represent North Irvine – AYSO Region 213 in this (U-10) age group.


Goalkeeper Exceptional	Ogi Sweeper – strong – dependable – fighter – good goalkeeper	Jacob Stopper – fast – dependable – composed – good goalkeeper	Koby Stopper - Center – very good passing skills – very good ball control - good goalkeeper	Cameron Stopper - Center - can play ANY position - very fast - fighter - scored 2 goals in one game from a corner kick

Zach Center - Can play ANY position – fast - extremely strong and accurate kick	Timothy Winger – great ball control - passes the ball and scores like a charm - enjoyment to watch	Matthew Winger – great ball control - passes the ball and scores like a charm - enjoyment to watch	Cammie Striker – extremely composed player – “no mercy” in the front of the goal – scored a back heel	Chris Striker – strong and determined like a football player – "no mercy" in the font of the goal – scored a header

The Bravehearts team has three coaches. Coaches were required to be Advanced certified by AYSO - the highest rated training and comparable to a USSF D license. Coaches were selected by an executive committee based on experience, background, and their standing as qualified representatives of Region 213.
